This week for the UCA Church worship service, you are invited to share your praises for the good things God has done this year… and for the not so good as well!
How do we do that?
Despite the fact that this year has seen many wonderful blessings from the Lord, there have also been many seemingly terrible things as well. It’s the nature of the fallen world we live in.
Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this… The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning! (Lamentations 3:21-23).
It is always good to give thanks. The apostle James says, “when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:2-4).
As we bring the year to a close, it is a good time to share with family and friends all the things God has done for us. It is a blessing to recount His goodness, and our trials, because it brings much hope and encouragement to others when we can share these things together.
Please join us this Sabbath for a Praise and Share service at UCA Church.
